Groundwater contamination in Kathmandu

The groundwater in the Kathmandu valley has been found to be contaminated with nitrates which the consumers have no idea how it affects their health. Environmental and Public Health Organization (EPHO) estimates that 10 million gallons of groundwater are extracted every day due to shortage of supply of municipality drinking water. Read article...
